PACKAGE CD FEATURE IS MISSING

Micltpls

I am running PowerPoint 2003 Professional Ed. and XP Operating System. I
have used the Package for CD feature in the past, but when I went to package
this last presentation the feature is no longer an available item.
I have expanded the "File" menu, and I do have the presentation open when
trying to do this.
Any ideas? I've been searching help/discussion forums for awhile but to no
avail.
Thank you!

I don't know if this will work or not, but try Tools | Customize, and on the
Options tab, click the button for "reset usage data."

It sounded like the right idea; but, unfortunately, did not solve the
problem. But your answer led me to the Customize Toolbar which was good--but
The Package CD is not even in there to re-add it. ?

In conjunction to what Echo has suggested, have you installed the SP for
PowerPoint? Have you Tried Detect and Repair?

I have the SP2 if that is the latest. I have not tried Detect and Repair.
Shamefully, I admit I do not know how. Always willing to learn something
new. I'll have to check it out and let you know. Thank you.

Update--that was easy--but unfortunately did not fix it. I'll have to see if
my IT Dept. can help me reinstall since they control the software. Thank you
for your help!
