package to CD

My slide presentation with music works perfect on the computer. I tried to
package it to a CD-R to play on other computers. When I put the cd into my
computer, it plays most of it fine but on some of the slides, the words don't
come through - it is just an unrecognizeable symbol instead. why didn't it
record just as it looked on the computer when I packed the cd ?? HOw do I
fix it? Thanks

My first guess would be that you used a font that isn't on the other
computer. If this is the case, you may be successful at embedding the fonts
into your presentation. The problem is that if you embed a font that is not
shareable, others will not be able to edit the presentation.

another solution may be also powerpoint to another format conversion
powerpoint to video or flash. then you won't have such problems wit
symbols, audio, video delays, etc. you can search google or try thi
program (i use it myself) - 'presentation to video converter
(http://www.geovid.com/Presentation_to_Video_Converter). it can conver
powerpoint to video, flash and animated gif. so just choose a
appropriate format and relax - after that your presentations wil
perform good on any computer
