Package Wizard

I am trying to deploy and Acces Database application that I have written
using the Packaging Wizard, but I can't seem to to find the wizrad. I have
Vis Studio .net Pro 2003 that came with the VS Tools for the MS Office
System. So everything I have read says I have it. I think I am supposed to go
to Add-In Manager and add it, but when I go to Add-In Manager (either Acess
or VS) nothing is listed. Please help
Very Frustrated,
dw

You need to install the Access Developer Extensions. It is a separate
install from VSTO.

It looks like the only way to get the Access Run time is by buying the MSDN
Universal Subcription. Is that correct or does it also come in the VS
Architect?

Thanks,

ADE can be purchased separately. However, it is not provided in MSDN
Pro....only Universal (as you've apparently found anyway).

hello there, goodday,
I've facing a same problem where I cant find any Developer
Extension/"package Wizard" at my START|PROGRAM as stated in the
documentation. also blank list in Add-Ins like Don. I've installed the Visual
Studio.Net, Ms Office Professional 2003, IIS and Visual Studio Tools For
Office as well.accordingly microsoft articles, the ADE is part of the VSTO.
but somehow after I installed it, there seems no reaction, and nothing
appear. did I missed anything? how to make it appear in Add-ins list then?

my ADE is come together with the MSDN universal cd. I tried also the VSTO
come with my VS.NET, both version cant work for me. any idea? Please advice.
by the way, what do you mean by separate install from VSTO to get ADE?

yup, at one-time, I tried to restart my pc, the system disk checking has
some message on screen, saying that the "ADE is entire unreadable". so I move
to other pc, do the same thing, ADE not appear so. shall I expect other step
in order to get ADE? as i need to deploy a Access program, will distribute to
users others plants, europe, asia. ADE is important to create convenience
among users.

hoping fast feedback from you....Thanks!!

Best Regards,
Li Na
