Packaging Problem in Access 2007

Hi guys,

I'm having a problem with the Access 2007 packaging wizard, or rather what
it produces.

I go through the wizard just fine and it produces a nice package which looks
just fine and installs just fine on another machine - the problem is that the
database will not open - I just get a blank 2007 screen.

I'm obviously doing something wrong, but can't work out what. Can anyone
help? Please?

Have you validated that your Access application is appropriate to use with
the runtime? You need to ensure that it's set up to have a form
automatically open when the database is opened. And with Access 2007, you
also need to insure that the database exists in a Trusted Location. Jeff
Conrad has instructions on how to do that at

Thanks Doug, If it's not too stupid a question, how do I make a form open on
startup?

I don't have Access 2007 installed on this machine, but it's somewhere under
the Office Button (the big round button in the upper left-hand corner)

Hi Doug, Thanks for this. I found it under the Access Options, which is a
drop down from the window that comes up when you press the big round Office
button!
