Page and section number number

Hi, I have been using the "Information" property to find out what a page
number of a field is.

It is part of a macro and I have found that using this causes word to
repaginate regularly while the macro is running and have caused Word to show
low on memory messages or crash when reading long documents.

Does anyone know of another way of reading the page number associated with a
specific field or selection in a document.
