Page disappeared

I was typing notes in class and all of a sudden my OneNotes freaked out and
the whole page deleted and went to a blank page. There are no records of
having the page that I lost-- I hit the undo button, searched for it in
OneNotes and on my computer search, looked in "View" and "Pages Changed
Recently", and there's no record of that page ever existing. Does anyone
know how to get it back? Where did my notes go?

Would you please clarify "freaked out"?
Did you get an error message?
Is there any error recorded in the event log?
Have you made any changes to the computer recently, e.g. installed new
software?
Is there a chance that you were distractedly or mistakenly holding down the
undo key (Ctrl+Z)?

My one notes was acting weird for a few minutes before the page disappeared
(it kept randomly switching the cursor from the bottom of the page where I
was typing up to the header/title box) but then it just all of a sudden
disappeared all together and I was looking at a notes page that said "there
is no data on this page" or something like that (not just a blank white page
like everything erased- it was like the page/file disappeared. I searched
for it in my files on the computer and I couldn't find it there either).

I don't know where the event log is, but I didn't get any error messages.

I haven't installed anything new on my computer in a few months at least,
and knock on wood, I haven't had any other programs mess up either.

I don't think I was anywhere near the undo key. The first thing I tried
when it disappeared was to hit the "undo" arrow but it didn't undo anything
because the whole file was gone (it's not like the text just got deleted off
the page).

Thanks for your help!

The event viewer is in Control Panel-Administrative Tools. You are looking
for an error in System or Application which was logged at around the time of
the pages loss of text.
