I have an application with a fairly complex form that contains 11 tabs on a
tab control. Each of the tabs has a subform on it; some of the subforms have
subforms on them. Access 2003 front-end running locally connected to an
Access 2000 back-end. When I or other users have this form open and then
open an Internet Explorer session or open a PDF file with Adobe Acrobat,
Access crashes. We are running on IBM ThinkPad T40 with 256MB of memory
using Access 2003 with SP1. I have tried turning off hardware acceleration
and I have reworked the Access form to place a blank subform, during runtime,
on the tabs that don't have the focus. The problem also occurs with an
identical Access 2000 front-end.
