Page information at bottom tool bar

Recently installed latest version of Word for Mac. Page information that used
to appear at bottom tool bar, showing total number of pages and current page,
is missing. How can I get it back?

Try Preferences/View. Check the Status bar checkbox.

Even following John's direction about the Status Bar don't expect to find
all the info that appeared there in prior versions. It won't be there &
there is no provision for restoring it. Do us all a favor & use Help> Send
Feedback to add to the MacBU database on the missing bits :)

Bob is right - I already had the Status Bar checked. Seems ridiculous you can open a document and not have an instant gauge of it's size/page number. I sent in my suggestion...let's hope more do.
