Page Layout 2 pages

I have a brochure to print which is designed in Word 2000 -
it is actually an A4 Portrait page cut in half - A5?
The problem is that when i print it my borders are not
coming out on all margins - I have a page border on - I
tried going in to options and changing the pt and the cm
etc. but I am now flabbergasted as to how to fix it?
Any takers??
