Page Layout : Parallel Pages

I am writing a script, and would like to create a format so that the text
pages are on the right page, and picture references are on the left page.
The picture pages would be linked to the text pages, so that as pages are
added on one side, a similar page would be added on the other.

In other words, I want to set up my document like a Jewish Bible. Instead of
Hebrew on the left side, I want pictures. Can this be done in Word, or do I
need to use a publishing utility?

Thank you!

I don't know why not. What size are the pictures? You should simply be able
to create a style for pictures that has "page break before". However, I did
do this once for Campbell's Pot Pie production manuals and ultimately
created 2 documents instead of one...but I don't recall EXACTLY why. I think
they wanted the page numbers to be the same.

If you want the text to flow to only "text" pages, skipping every other
page, it's going to be pretty annoying to do in Word. I think you'd be
better off with other programs.
