Page line-up help please

Hi all

I'm having difficulty figuring out how to print double sided so that the
pictures align up exactly on either side of the paper.

What I'm trying to do is print 12cm x 12cm tables onto A4 paper (2 on each
side), then turn the paper re-insert it into my printer and print again. I
need to cut out the 12x12cm images, but so far cannot get then to line up
correctly as the margins aren't the same all round.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Andy

You could display the drawing grid to help you position the objects
the way you want them: On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw, and then
click Grid. Make sure "Snap objects to grid" is selected. Specify the
desired horizontal and vertical spacing. Check "Display gridlines on
screen". Click OK.

But in this instance I suspect that the problem is one of preciseness of
printer feed mechanisms; the most profitable approach for Andy may be to
adjust the margins/alignment on the back side by trial and error until they
line up.

Agreed. I have tried to do this in the past and trial and error with real
paper, in the printer you want to use, is the only way to get it exactly
right - and even then there is usually some slack in the mechanism so you
won't get guaranteed results.

Thanks all for your advice.

I took the trial and error route, and finally I have them precicely lined up
and printing. It took dedication, but thanks to your posts I knew it was
possible.

Thanks again
