page name

Crash - i actually did a "save as" to the new page
before. i've done this for this website. i duplicated
the whole site, and copied another web page again. i
renamed page. It looks fine in normal Frontpage view, but
when I preview, the page name is "copy of ..." even
though I changed the name. I tried to recalc as you
noted. that didn't work either. it's gotta be an easy
fix, so i'll keep working on it. any ideas are
appreciated.

somehow this post is out of sequence.

what you should have done is rename old page... index_oldpage.htm (or whatever), then do a Save As and name the new page index.htm (or whatever), if you try to name the page the same as the old page you will end up with "copy of"

doesn't matter now, just name it what it should be named.

then do recalc hyperlinks

is the site published online?

Hi Crash - The old version of the website is on-line. I
have not uploaded new one yet since i have to work out
this issue. Although my degree is in MIS, I can't
profess to be an expert in Frontpage - novice is more
like it. Actually took some web courses using HTML -
didn't use development tool like Frontpage. Anyway, my
good friend is a pastor for an up-and-coming church in
our area, and I volunteered to do site. the site is a
work in progress -- www.amazinggraceworshipcenter.com.
Help yourself to view it if you wish, however, as i
mentioned, the version in question is not uploaded.

I'll try what you recommended below, and see what
happens. I'll keep you posted.

Hey, no problem..glad I could help. I'm no expert on FP either even though I've been using it since the beginning of time, but I try to help here with the questions I feel I can answer.

If it didn't work the first time all it really means is you didn't have enough beer in the equation. You know God created beer to show us how much he really loves us.

it's amazing! i did the same thing i've done in the
past, but ... who knows, right! sometimes it's best to
walk away and try again later. btw - love the sense of
humor, Crash! nothing like a good, cold beer! God did
