Page Numbering Even Pages Incrementing

Lloking for some hlep on page numbering. I am looking to include the page
number only on odd page. However, I also am looking for it to increment only
on thoese odd pages as well. The outcome is a doc with a number on every
other page, the pages with numbers are numbered 1, 2, 3 etc.

A formula is not working since it is always a diffrent number that needs to
be subtracted!

Go to Page Setup, Layout, and tick Different odd and even. Now go to
View, Header and Footer. Then click in the Odd Page Footer, then pick
Insert Page number. Leave the Even page footer alone.

Thanks bob. This unfortunley does not increment by just he odd pages, so it
prins as 1, 3, 5 not 1, 2, 3

Oh sorry, I read your question as you wanted 1,3,5 but were getting
1,2,3 based on some formula someone had provided.
