Page numbering

I do a 12 page bulletin with the first page being a cover page. I print this
out as a booklet and want to begin numbering my document with "1" on what is
actually the second page. Is there any way to skip the first page of a
document and begin numbering on the second sheet with number "1"?

What version of Publisher are you using?

No, there is no way to automatically do this.

You would need to put the first page at the end of the file so that the page
automatically numbered 1 was in the correct place.
Or manually number your file.
