Page numbering

I have a large word document and I wish to restart the
page numbering in the Footer halfway through.

Example

Page 1
Page 2
Page 3

restart

Page 1
PAge 2

CAn this be done without creating two documents?

Any help would be appreciated

Just insert continuous section breaks (from the Insert menu) then you can
retart the numbering at each new section.
