Page numbers all zeros

All the page numbers in the footers of my Word 2000
documents show as 0's when opened in Word 2002. I checked
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Numbering/PageNumber0.htm
and my header does have a picture. I used workaround #1
and it worked, except the picture moves up and to the left
in the header. I can't seem to move the object to where I
need it. I tried to used the other workarounds, but they
didn't seem to work. Any ideas on how to keep the picture
where it was or how to move it after I choose In Line w/
text?

I spoke too soon. I have a 16 page document with the
identical header w/ a picture in it that still has ALL the
pages numbered zero AFTER I changed the picture to In Line
w/ Text. So anyone have any other ideas?

Instead of making the picture inline, leave it wrapped but move the anchor
to the paragraph below the table. Fine-tune the location using the Format |
Picture | Layout | Advanced dialog.
