page numbers and text

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I want to insert page numbers in the upper right hand corner of the page. I know how to do this with insert then page numbers option....The problem is I need a short title( as in APA format requires) with the page number....Why office doesn't have this option I don't know....or Why I can't find it I don't know....Please somebody help

Insert the page number into the header. Click on View>Header and Footer,
open the Formatting Palette and click on the "#" icon in the Header and
Footer section.
