page numbers in landscape view

I have a large report. Some pages are in landscape view, others are in portrait. The numbered pages in landscape view have thier own page numbers and are not seqential to the portrait view numbered pages. How do I fix this?

'Fix' is hardly the word. Page numbers uniquely identify one page in the
document; which your numbers apparently do not.

You can use SEQ fields to create sequential number series -- one series for
portrait pages, another for landscape. You'll have to put the numbers in the
body of the page rather than the header or footer.

It sounds as if you have at some point set a starting number for the page
numbers. All things being equal, this same starting number will be used in
each section. In the landscape section, View | Header and Footer, click the
Format Page Number button, and change the numbering to "Continue from
previous section."
