Page Numbers in Publisher 2000

I am completing our Employee Handbook and do not want page umbers on my first
9 pages. Page 10 is the first one I want numbered beginning with page #1.
Instead my page #10 is labeled page #1. Can anyone help and let me know if
this is possible with this software? Thanks.

Thank you Don. I was holding that option as a last resort because as I
change the book in the future I would have to change the near 70 page numbers
to go with it. I was hoping I could find a more automated way. But thank
you for your answer.

Publisher 2002 introduced this functionality, it was not available in
Publisher 2000.
My apologies.

As I said, the functionality was introduced in Publisher 2002
It was kept in Publisher 2003, the latest available version.
