Page numbers in Word documents

My thesis comittee decided I need to have no page numbers on the first page,
roman numerals on the next 10 pages in the bottom middle of the footer
starting at ii, and the rest have regular numbers int he top left corner. How
do I do that?

I can get the numbers and format of numbers correct. The placement of the
nubmers (bottom middle and top right) I can't seem to seperate from one
section to another.

Help?
