Page # printing text instead of #

Help! Never seen this one before. Insert Page # in header
on first page of doc. View displays {Page} instead of
actual page number in header on every page. What's up and
how do I correct?

Hi, Cas,

Your Word is set to display field codes instead of field results. The
keyboard shortcut to toggle from one to the other is Alt+F9. You get the
same effect by going to Tools > Options > View and checking/unchecking the
Field Codes item.
