Page Setup and Image Consistency: Various Office Applications

Hi:

I am curious. In Vsiso 2003, it seems like I can have a huge custom size
for my workspace: print size, paper size, etc. e.g. 5000 " x 4000".

In PowerPoint, I am limited to 56" x 56" max.
In Word, I am limited to 22" x 22" max.

Also, if I cut & paste screens: Visio -> Word or PowerPoint
or the other way around, I lose information. A single
Graphic image in one app becomes more than one object
in another app, dashed lines in one app, become solid lines
in another, etc. Text gets resized, shifted, irregularly-spaced, etc.
Why isn't Microsoft consistent between its own applications ?

The end-user can't just cut & paste information.
He or she must redo their work in their other app.
Something isn't kosher in Denmark !

Thanx

I'd export the item as an image and insert that into the other application.
That's usually a little more reliable than copy/paste (as you've seen).

You're welcome. EMF will probably be the best export format for Visio
because it's vector and scales well. Next up (in my opinion) would be PNG.
