page size changes when converted to Adobe

I am trying to convert a Word2000 document on a Windows
2000 into a Adobe format. I am using the Adobe distiller
virtual driver. When converted to Adobe format the page
size changes to 81/2 x 11 whereas I have customised the
page size in Word document to 12 x 9.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try asking Adobe on their forum:

Be sure to mention your version of Adobe Acrobat.
