Page size in Word smaller than reality!

Under Page Set-Up I have specified A4 as paper size and
set appropriate margins.

However, the paper size in Word is smaller than reality.
This means when I type to the bottom of the page on-
screen it pushes me to the next page. But when I print
the page there is loads of blank paper at the bottom.

How can I ensure that A4 size in Word reflects reality?!!

Any ideas please...?

The printer my not be set properly.
Word uses its own margings when setting up the document,
but uses the printer's margings when printing/previewing.

Control Panel -> Printers -> Printer properties AND
Printing preferences AND Device settings (yes, 3 spots to
look for)

If you're sure that A4 is selected in Page Setup, are you perhaps tracking
changes in Word 2002?
