Page Size Problem with Word 2000

In Word 2000, I've never had this problem before. When trying to change the
page size (under page setup) it says custom size, but the pull down menu is
blank for any other options. I've tried to restore, to repair, and to
reinstall Office, but nothing changes. What do I try next?

What is the active/default printer? Page setup options are determined by the
current printer.

I'm using a laptop, so I go back and forth between two printers. In the
past, it didn't seem to have a problem with automatically handling things
like this, but I checked this morning at home. It was configured with my
laser as the the default. I looked at the page size pull-down and everything
was fine. I'll check at the office and change the default printer when I get
there. Maybe it will work there too.
