Page x of y problems when printing

I

Ingrid

I am using page x of y in a footer and, on screen, it looks perfect and reads as it should, i.e. page 1 of 3, page 2 of 3, page 3 of 3 but when I print it comes out as page 1 of 1, page 2 of 2, page 3 of 3... Any ideas how to solve this?

See the article “Page X of Y displays or prints as Page 1 of 1, Page 2 of 2
etc.†at:

Ingrid- I'm sorry I don't have an answer, but I have just
started to have the same problem today. It's worked fine
in the past. If you hear a solution, please forward.

Thanks!

If you expand the thread that Ingrid started, you should see the response
that I posted about 4 hours before you posted this message.

Of course if you don't expand that thread, you will see neither that, nor
your post, nor this.

Try downloading Office 2000 Service Release SR-1 and SR-
1a. This worked for me. See this link for more info-
