Using Office XP Word. Recently when I use numpages as a
field in the footer, the pages index correctly on the
screen but print incorrectly in the document, such as 1
of 1, 2 of 2, 3 of 3 etc. I have tried reverse printing
but that doesn't correct the problem. This problem
appeared after a recent update to the Word software from
Microsoft. Rumor has it that there was a problem in the
upgrade. Any suggestions, comments or solutions. This
is causing problems when printing documents with the
footer Page x of y. I have to hand correct each page.

working on the problem and would appreciate documentation of the error. If
you would like to contribute, send to my email a *small* sample (zipped if
possible) of a document that is exhibiting the problem, along with details
about your printer model and driver (exact name of the driver).

I have the same problem, is there a fix, or download that will correct this proble
