Pages One, Two, Three

Is there a way to show page numbers as one, two, three, etc instead of
1,2,3....

Thanks in advance!

Yes. You'll need to add "switches" to the { PAGE } field. First press Alt+F9
to display the field code so you can edit it. Then add this switch:

\*CardText

This will give you one, two, three. If you want One, Two, Three, then also
add:

\* Caps [to capitalize the first letter of each word]
or
\* FirstCap [to capitalize the first letter of the first word]

These two switches will have the same effect on numbers expressed in one
word, and I'm guessing you won't be getting as high as "Two Hundred Three,"
but I mention them for the sake of completeness.

After editing the field, press Alt+F9 to toggle back and F9 to update the
field.

Thanks so much! Is there anywhere in the Help system that shows these
switches? I couldn't find them.

The "Format (\*) field switch" Help topic in Word 2003 is where I find them;
not sure if Word 2007 has this same Help topic.
