If your printer can print 11 x 17, and assuming you are using Word 2000 or
above, choose the "2 pages per sheet" option in the Page Setup dialog (not
in the Print dialog). This will divide the 11 x 17 (landscape) page into two
8.5 x 11 (portrait) pages.
