Pain in the arse?

Have an error which pops up without any solutions to delete it, due to a
server path which doesn't exist - now am unable to send or receive e-mails
due to yellow triangle.

Have tried all complicated areas revolving around help menu's - could
Microsoft in all its glory design an update which doesn't cause this much
grief?!!.

Any help appreciated?.
