Pale Blue Vision

The pale blue "everything" is difficult to see. how do i change the borders,
the edges, the bottom, the ribbon, the menu bar etc.

Assuming you mean Office 2007, your choices are limited.

Click on the Office button in the upper left corner - Options - Popular -
Color Schemes

I found Black offers me the greatest amount of contrast but try all three
and see what you think.

Any updates on how to chance the memu bar colors, or any source of better
(cleaner ) colors?

I am also interested in getting a color with more contrast. I have a
cataract and find it very difficult to see the letters in the menu bar with
black, silver, or blue as the color chosen. Since this is my office
computer, choosing another software package is not an option. I was able to
change my default font in documents to Arial which seems to have stronger
edges, but I still have to cover for not being able to read the menu bar.
