Palm Sync after sp2

I'm intrigued...it took a lot of searching across the web and finally
digging through this newsgroup to find any hint of where Microsoft was
going with the Entourage conduit.

So it seems from my reading into Tiger, Sync Services, and iSync...is
that iSync would still be involved with syncing Palm to Entourage. But
that is how it is today...so what is implied then is that Palm Hotsync
would be left out of the picture in this planned move to Tiger Sync.
Correct?

(Hope this happens soon so that I can finally get back to a T3 if not a
T5. I downgraded from a T3 to a T2 due to lack of new PIM support on
Entourage).

You'll find the updated Handheld Sync Installer in the Microsoft Office
2004 -> Additional Tools folder. Not sure if it'll solve your Treo
problems though.

That's the latest version. There was no update to this file in 11.2.

There is no such update.

What are you talking about? Please provide details, there should be no
difference, unless you have an Exchange account. I that case, Palm sync will
sync by default to your local address book and calendar (On MY Computer) if
your default email address is POP, IMAP or Hotmail; and will sync to your
Exchange address book and calendar if your default email address is your
Exchange account. To change the behavior, change your default email account
in Tools/Accounts/Mail by selecting and clicking "Make Default" button. You
can change it back after the sync.

My Treo 650 is also having trouble syncing since SP2, in fact NOTHING
from Entourage syncs after SP2 (except one event that I added to
Entourage today). I think it may be trying to sync to an Exchange
Account that I no longer have.
