Palm Tungsten E2 won't sync with Outlook 2003

My calendar and tasks won't sync with Outlook 2003. I am using the Outlook
connector for Lotus notes and that works great, but my Palm Tungsten E2 won't
sync the calendar or the tasks. Here are the error messages I'm getting:

I tried all the fixes listed on the Palm website... but they don't help.
Palm says it is a known problem and basically, they don't know what to do
about it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
