Panda AV prevents publishing

I have found that my antivirus checker prevents publishing/updates of my
websites.
I use Panda Titanium 2005 and XP HE with Frontpage 2003.
Turning th AV checker off cures the problem but i feel vunerable.
Is there a better way?

Anti-Virus programs do not normally block FrontPage. Does Panda also
include a firewall of some sort? If so configure the firewall
allowing FrontPage access to the Internet.

Yes PANDA AV does have a firewall but the permissions include two for
Front Page both as outbound clients but i think it may be due to the
use of port 21 (as i have had a messge referring to this)

If you publish using http:// then you need to allow FrontPage on port
80. For FTP publishing in FrontPage Publish Properties set Passive
Mode.
