Para formatting

I need to format the para. as below:-


1.1 xxxxxx <--- Format 1

1.1.1 xxxxxx <---- Format 2
1.1.1.1 xxxxxx

1.1.1.1.1 xxxxxx <---- Format 3

Do I need to have one formatting or three formatting? If one formatting is
required, can you advise how to accomplish it. If three formatting is
required, how can I copy one format from one place to another.

You need four styles for that (probably five, since presumably there is a
paragraph numbered just 1); see
