paragragh symbol

paragraph symbol appears on every line of blank documents & on exisitng
documents. I can delete them but they come back as soon as I type a new line.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | View tab | uncheck the boxes
for "All" and "Paragraph marks" | OK.
