Paragraph spacing in numbered list

I need to use outline numbering to make an agenda. I know how to do this
except the paragraph spacing. What I need is:

1. text - 12pt after
2. text - 6 pt after
a. text - 6pt after
b. text - 6pt after
c. text - 12 pt after
3. text etc

I am not sure if I should be creating styles to achieve this. I have made a
style for the 1. and 2. etc with 12pt after and a style for the a. and b.
but not sure how to achieve the c. with 12 pt after so that I can get to 3.
with the correct spacing. I can manually change c. to 12pt after but then
have to do this throughout the list - a bit tedious when I have lots of
headings.
I have also tried using Space before (rather than after) but a similar
problem arises.
Can anyone tell me a better way, please.
TIA

Give the Level 2 (a, b, c) style 6 pts after and the Level 1 (1, 2, 3) style
6 pts after and 6 pts before. Make sure that "Don't use HTML auto paragraph
spacing" is checked on the Compatibility tab of Tools | Options.

Thanks Suzanne - I hadn't thought of that!
