paragraphs and multline textbox using saveresults bot

I am using a multiline textbox and the saveresults bot to make a guestbook.
When the guest enters carriage returns/line feeds by pushing the enter key
more then one times to create paragraph in the textbox, the entry is
displayed as a single paragraph.

Is there anyway to tell the saveresults extension to display the entry as
paragraphs? or some other way to solve this problem?

It looks like saveresults retains the carriage returns/line feeds and sends
them to the browser as part of the text to be displayed in the textbox, but
the browser, of course, ignores them. How can they be changed to <br>s?
