E-mail report using Lotus Notes rather t

Hi,

I am using Access 2003. I created my parameter query and I have linked the
query in my switchboard using open query macro. When I click on the
switchboard button I get pop-up parameter to enter but when I cancel the
parameter instead of inserting data into the parameter pop-up it give me
"Action Failed" from the pop-up screen and when I click on "Halt" another
screen pops-up and say "There was an error executing the command" If I don't
cancel and input the data in all the pop-up parameter screen the query works.
But how do I get rid of or prevent the "Action Failed" pop-up or any other
pop-up screens and instead just cancel the paremeter pop-up screens. I have
no problem if I don't use macro and just open the query file without going
through the switchboard bottons. What kind of code do I need to prevent
this? Thanks K.

I think you will have not use a poup. A popup has the focus while it is
open. When you close the popup you can not use it as a source for your query
parameter.
You can just let the query prompt you like [Enter your parameter] or use a
form that the Visible property is set to No will do the same thing. Or use a
visible form with an execute (command) button.
