How do I stop a parameter query from using a Reference
such as - [Forms]![DateChoice]![StartDate]
as a message in an 'Enter Parameter Value' dialog box?
The custom form does take the values, but only after
entering some values first in the default parameter dialog
box. So, yes, the reference is sound. But I don't want to
see the 'Enter Parameter Value' box!
Okay, I've checked this by adding one date in the default
param box, and then a different date in my custom form.
The first parameter records are shown first. However, re-
querying (Shift-F9) then shows the records for the values
entered in my custom box... Its remembering them both. I
don't understand the innards of Access enough to know what
is going on here.
Ideally I want a 'Between...And' for the start and end
dates, but this does the same thing. Right now I'd settle
for start date....
