part 2: prob in connection of project professional with project se

when I made new installation with windows in manager computer and install
project professional and want to configure project professional with project
server it is displaying dialog box with error and it is not connected . tell
my why



unexpected server response
projectserver has returned unexpected server response

When we click on view button then the this page is appearing on browser.

The server at 'http://epm/projectserver' returned the following error to
Project.

Please try the following:

Contact the Web site administrator if you believe you should be able to view
this directory or page.

HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.

Can you browse the same url in IE? Does it open locally? One more option:
check authentication method for ProjectServer in IIS. You may use SSL (https
prefix).
