Sometimes full details of a date not needed and not available. For instance model of a car said to be model 2004 instead of day/mnth/2004. I want to enter only the year in a database table, and know "part date" option is there. But it is not standard in the design form. If I enter Date/ time and modify it with "part date' I get error messages. How can I set up a field in an access d/b where I can enter "part date" such as 1974 only.
