partial print Ppt document, page numbers always from 1 ??? Help !

I have a big presentation (>500 slides), printed as 2 slides per page, with a
footer including a page number. Fine if I print ALL in a single pass.
But if I try to print, say, slides 200-399, then the page footer restarts to
"1" !
(the slides numbers are indeed correct).
Any solution ?
