Is there a way to show (by background color perhaps) the part of day somebody
is present; my boss is here 4 dayparts per week, but I also want to see her
other workdays (so just showing mondays and fridays is not an option)
Thanks

The work day is definable but it's only one slice per day as is the work
week. You can see those settings here: Tools menu > Options > Calendar. I
think you've probably been there already but I just wanted to double check

Yes I've been there.. I know i can define a workweek to 2 or 3 days or
whatever, but that doesn't do the trick, because i need to see
tuesday-afternoon, thursday-morning etc. At this moment i use my
calendar-items to do so, but it would be very nice to see 2 colors in one
calendar (mondaymorning green, mondayafternoon yellow or whatever). I hope
you understand what i'm trying to do?

I sort of understand but Outlook only has one definition for work day/time.
So I don't think it'll do exactly what you want.
