Pass Form Fields to an alternate table?

I have an invoice form that after my invoiceid, invoicenumber, invoicedate,
and off my subform, invoicetotal to another table called tblinvoicepayments.

Can this be done without having to add the tblinvoicepayments to my
invoiceform?
