pass macro name reference from form to switchboard argument

in access' switchboard manager construct

can I have a "switchboard item" argument accept a value contained in a form?

if i have a report name or macro name contained in a field hidden in the
calling switchboard screen

I've the switchboard menu construct performing for the majority of the
application, however i have to deviate on some paths to allow users to select
enumerable criteria on a separate form when they complete that selection I
have them proceed to a common auxiliary switchboard "SwitchPrint" to print.
I need to have the common auxiliary "SwitchPrint Items" pull or accept an
argument (either a macro name or report name) from the deviated forms
