Password does not save in outlook 2003

Dear Friends,

Please help !!!!!

I did a clean install of office 2003. The first thing I tested was out look 2003 and it is broken.

Out look does not save password. Every time I try to receive message it asks me for the password. I am checking the password save check box every time with no success.

I cleaned all registry settings and did install it three times with no success.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

thanks,

Surinder

Neo,

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately it did not work.

I checked the Protective storage service and did the registry modification as described in the solution but without any success.

I to have this problem and I did follow the suggested fix
to no eval. Here is my earlier posting which I figured
should be chained to Surinder's posting
=====================
Same thing happened to me. (XP prof + Outlook 2003).
About 3 months ago the MS edit registry worked but the
problem has cropped up again within the past 2 weeks.
Appeared to coinside with the New Yahoo Mail change. Could
it be related

I created a new XP profile and also created a new outlook profile with no
success. Also did all the registry changes as suggested.

I had outlook 2000 previously with the same email accounts and there was no
problems.

Yes The environment anonymous described is very similar to mine I has the
same OS and the same office version and the same email provider.

I have read that outlook 2003 works differently than earlier versions. It
goes and grabs all the accounts concurrently and if you have multiple
account with the same provider that locks the account sometimes. Microsoft
developers does know that nowadays the ISP's are providing up to 10 email
accounts and this outlook 2003 will not work with that???

Thanks,
Surinder
