Password Help

Chels

I am using Access 2000 and I used the security wizard to set up my database
security. I made myself the only admin because I created the database and now
I have to enter a password every time I open the database which is great for
right now BUT I am a temp and am leaving this job in 2 weeks and once I am
gone others will need to be able to update this database. Also a good 50-70
people will need to be able to access the database as read only but it is
inconvenient for them to have to remember a password.

In other words I need to take the password off the database. It would be far
too confusing to add so many people as read only users but my company's
system will have no problem making the file read only to most users. How can
I get the password to go away?

I would just go back to using the backed up copy I made before setting the
secuirty but I have done a lot of work on it since then!

Thanks,
