Password needs to be entered

Every time Outlook is loaded, the password must be re-
entered, even after it has been previously entered and
the 'remember password' box checked. Now I've got both a
dial-up and a high speed access and I'm asked to enter
the password twice, once for each. Each time, the
password and check are gone. The office program is XP
standard. Another computer (W98) with the same program
(XP)doesn't have this problem. Same settings!

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Ron asked:

Thanks for the info. Apparently SP1&2 are installed, and
your referenced article doesn't address XP. Also, the
warnings included are uncomfortable.
