I know this gets brought up all the time, and I know about the article that
addresses the problem, located here:

However, I am unable to follow the instructions in the above mentioned
article, because I do not have the registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider
It is simply not in the registry.
This is not a question of a forgotten password. Please don't offer me
solutions for that.
Thanks to any who might have a clue as to what I can do to get Outlook 2002
to remember my password.
